The Quail Men's Golf Association
The form to the right is the REGISTRATION form for the Quail Men’s Golf Association (MGA) Scholars Cup Scholarship Application. After successfully registering here, you will receive a verification e-mail. After verifying your email address, you can complete this year's on-line scholarship application.
Application Process:
The new on-line application must be completed by each student wishing to apply for a scholarship. Completed applications will be reviewed by the MGA Selection Committee with final awards determined after selected in-person interviews. Note that the web site will allow you to save or modify your application all the way up to submission. Once the "submit" button has been pushed no further changes or additions will be possible.
Application Process Dates:
- Accepting Applications: January 15, 2025
- Submission Deadline: March 15, 2025
- Qualified In-person Interviews: April 16 & 21, 2025
- Awards Date: May 1, 2025
Terms and Conditions:
The awarding of the scholarship shall be at the sole discretion of the MGA Selection Committee and their decision as to the recipients shall be final. The MGA reserves the unrestricted right to amend, modify, or terminate this scholarship program.

Application Process:

- Have some golf experience, be it playing, coaching, or volunteering
- Be a resident of Monterey County
- Have plans to attend community college, university or vocational / trade school
- Have maintained a minimum 3.5 GPA
In addition to the mandatory requirements above, the scholarship committee will evaluate applications based upon:
- Academic performance
- Financial need
- School and Community leadership and service
Completed applications will be reviewed by the MGA Selection Committee with final awards determined after selected in-person interviews.

- Have some previous golf experience, be it playing, coaching, or volunteering
- Be a resident of Monterey County
- Registered at a community college, university or vocational / trade school
- Have maintained a minimum 2.75 GPA during their college course work
In addition to the mandatory requirements above, the scholarship committee will evaluate applications based upon:
- Academic performance
- Financial need
- School and Community leadership and service
Completed applications will be reviewed by the MGA Selection Committee with final awards determined after the committee has reviewed all applications.
